An OK B movie except for the technical advisors: warm water underwater plant life in the Arctic; radios that work underwater; trying to lift several tons with a 1" cable; trying to lift several tons with a small sky crane; buoyancy vs gas bottle capacity.

Other inconsistencies: they had one regulator and tanks at the first sinking but two more at the end; the snow mobile at the beginning carried a spear gun but not a rifle. But I guess anything is OK in fiction.
